Managing and setting the locking of records. For those objects where a large number of users operate at a given time and there is a risk of two users trying to edit the same record simultaneously, Elements offers a system of records locking – a tool which does not allow editing of a given record if it is currently opened by another user.

When started, the object „Locking history” is automatically created, which shows when a record has been locked and by whom. For „extreme” situations (e.g. a running PC with the platform left open, electric failure etc.), Elements provides an interface to define administrators of the locking for each object – these are the users, who are allowed to unlock records with no limitations.
